Exploring the relationship between racial identity and neurodivergent conditions specifically focusing on ADHD and autism in the Black community.

For a long time, the conversation about neurodivergent conditions has not considered the impact of intersecting identities. Whether it is gender, culture, location or race, many are excluded from the conversation.

Intersecting identities affects many, such as accessing a diagnosis, support or even receiving the correct referral.

This research is to make a difference

The study specifically explores the experiences of Black individuals and how care, support and referral are administered.
